Project Overview

The goal of this project was to design and build a chatbot that could provide information on legal topics and connect users with legal resources in their community. The chatbot was built using Python, Telegram, and API and was intended to be a resource for individuals seeking information on legal topics and assistance with legal issues.

The bot can get text messages, an image, a video, audio, and also a file/document. The bot is called AT Bot with an handle yemir_bot, you can search for the bot on Telegram though it won’t always be online due to server costs.

Scope of the Project (v1):

Research and gather information on legal topics and resources in the community.
Design and build a chatbot using Python, Telegram API that can provide information on legal topics and connect users with legal resources in their community.
Test and refine the chatbot to ensure it is able to accurately understand and respond to user questions and provide helpful information and resources.

The process

Step 1: Conduct User Research and gather information on legal topics and resources in the community.
Step 2: Design the chatbot using Python, Telegram API, including determining how users will interact with the chatbot in real-time and what information and resources it will provide.
Step 3: Build the chatbot using Python, Telegram API.
